Geotechnical & geologic ENGINEERING SERVICES
Hydrometrics’ staff of geotechnical engineers, geological engineers and geologists have completed numerous projects involving
soil and geologic investigations, laboratory testing programs, in-situ field testing, field reconnaissance, foundation design reports,
field monitoring services, and peer review services. These geotechnical and geologic services have been performed on projects
varying from dams in wilderness settings 
to large RCRA hazardous waste landfills. Our geotechnical engineering staff are
experienced and trained in performing analyses such as bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction, seepage, and slope stability.
Our geologists are experienced and trained in performing field mapping, stratigraphic logging and groundwater evaluations and
modeling. Hydrometrics’ professional staff have experience in ground improvement methods, slope stabilization methods,
geosynthetic materials design, dam design and field monitoring installations.
